Opal Knit Choker
Materials:
Small amount of Opal Sock yarn (Can always use leftovers from socks or belt)
USE 2 STRANDS TOGETHER
Sample is knit with Opal Mosaic No. 1113
Knitting Needles Size 5
Crochet Hook Size E (or one close to it, not particularly important)
Buttons and or Charms to suit you
2 Beads, (Optional)BEGIN CHOKER:
Cast On (with 2 strands together) 4 stitches (leave a tail about 2 ½’ long, to be used later)
Rows 1 & 2: K2, P2
Rows 3 & 4: P2, K2Continue in this pattern till piece is desired length (about 16-17") then bind off leaving
a tail about 2-1/2 feet long.With crochet hook, pull the tails of the yarn between the 4 stitches at each end (two stitches on each side of strands), to center it, then starting at the choker end, chain 35 stitches to the end, if you would like, add a bead, then knot. Repeat at other end of the choker. Cut the extra yarn off the ends and wear!
