PROBLEMS WITH OPAL YARN.....
If you receive a skein of Opal yarn that has flaws, you are encouraged to do the following ---

OPAL PURCHASED IN THE U.S........

1st) Contact the shop or person you bought the Opal yarn from, relate the problem to them, and discuss their individual customer satisfaction/return policy.

2nd) If you do not get satisfaction from the person you bought your yarn from, EMAIL US and we will see what we can do to help resolve your problem.

OPAL PURCHASED OUTSIDE THE U.S...

1st) Follow same step 1 as described above.

2nd) If you do not get satisfaction, email the Opal Distributor for the country you purchased the yarn from. You'll find a listing of all the Distributors at this link: OPAL Yarn Distributors

3rd) If you still do not get any satisfaction, then EMAIL the Opal Yarn Manufacturer

We here at PT Yarn feel terrible whenever a skein of defective Opal yarn is discovered. And we feel even worse when the defect isn't discovered until well into your sock or 2nd sock, or what have you. So, we work with our yarn shops here in the states to make sure that Customer Service is of the utmost priority.

However, we have no control of, nor are we responsible for Opal yarns purchased from other countries, or from sources such as private individuals selling on eBay, etc.

We encourage you folks to buy your yarn from your favorite yarn shop or from your favorite online shop. Follow these few simple tips when purchasing yarn.

1) Keep your receipts.

2) Make a note of what yarns you bought and from where.

3) Check the return policy before you buy.

4) Check your yarn thoroughly for defects before you put them in your stash.

5) Contact the shop or online store as soon as possible for a refund or a replacement.
